You have a strong desire to protect the lie we’ve been fed by the progressives.

No, the republicans were not the slave owners. The republicans were opposed to slavery.

The democrats were the slave owners.

The democrat party was and still is the party of slavery.

It’s silly to feel intimidated by the progressive “scholars.” First and foremost, they’re not all that intelligent. I don’t mind saying this, mostly because their claim of intelligence is one of their most used weapons against truth and justice.

But how can they be intelligent, given the stupidity of progressivism?

Hmmm?

Lincoln was a progressive. He was backed by New York progressives. I have no desire to preserve the lies we have been led to believe about Lincoln and what he did.

Big city Liberals in New York and Washington DC launched a war against the South because the South was going to stop allowing their trade with Europe to be funneled through the pockets of the powerful in New York and Washington DC.

Lincoln didn't start the war to stop slavery. He started the war to prevent the South from acquiring economic control over their own industries, and to stop them from competing with his big monied backers in the Northeast.

The era of Crony Capitalist control of Washington DC began with the Lincoln Presidency, and has continued ever since. Today we call it "the establishment."
