A remarkable story of a school bus driver's heroism is emerging from the devastating fire in Paradise, California. On Nov. 8, Kevin McKay responded to an emergency call. He went to Ponderosa Elementary, picked up 22 students, and drove them away from the fast-moving Camp Fire. Knowing his own family had evacuated, he felt it was his responsibility to make sure so many other children were safe as well.

America is full of such people to head into danger to save others. It’s the complete antithesis of big state nanny government; those bastards would be sitting it out, waiting for “government to do something.”
He drove in that inferno for FIVE HOURS!!!!
Could’a used him in New Orleans a few years back...
Took them 5 hrs to go 30 miles to get away. Video @ 2:40 ... the firemen were going the other direction... (into the heart of the fire they had just escaped).
