How do you explain deep-red Indiana smack dab in the middle of the midwest? Where they just elected a republican supermajority to the state legislature? Is that republicans fleeing from Illinois and Ohio or something? Seriously, if the demographics are so much against conservatives how do you explain Indiana?
Subpar economic growth and migration. They are simply in stasis. Not much change. People in Illinois simply come here to Texas or Florida.
