If paganism was, ahem, recgnized, then why did the pagans have to sue the V.A., to have their symbol on a headstone?
The author of the article forgot to include the growing number of both active and veterans of our military, who are pagan.
Here is something else the author missed, but writing from a British standpoint, i can see why.
Going outside, to the park, to the woods, etc., means no brick and mortar taxes. No utility bills. Another thing unmentioned, no need for a 503c paper!
Pagans do not have an ecumenical heirarchy, as some people think. Nams may be known, but there are no bishops, or some such thing. Even names of notoriety, like Laurie Cabot of Salem, is not the final authority. The individual pagan themselves, are!
Now, if that is not a true American trait, prove it!

Don’t say that in front of American pagan veterans, or their widows, whose husbands died protecting your right to practice your religion.
