California has nicer weather and better scenery. Politically, they are carbon copies, with the rest of the Northeast and Middle Atlantic, except Pennsylvania but including Virginia, not far behind.

Damned right I am! Massachusetts has been a Liberal $hithole for my entire life. I grew up here in CA in the 1950s and 60’s and there were no liberals here then except for the a$$hole professors at UC Berkeley who had been there since the 1930’s. Both San Francisco and Oakland had Republican mayors. The Dreadlocks contingent in MA have run the place with the help of the Irish for over 100 years! And FWIW my wife is Irish, and her family wouldn't stoop to pi$$ on the Irish in MA.
