The last few years it’s been rainy and then some up here.....we actually get more rain than the State of Washington now. So I suspect winter’s going to bring cold weather and several big storms this year. Yulk! However since I took an early retirement I no longer fret over the weather anymore! So happy I don’t have to go out unless I want to! It’s wonderful!

I lived in Jacksonville Florida for a time.......really missed the seasonal changes here.

There certainly was a lot of rain up there this summer. Lots of flooding in parts of the state.
Maybe you’ll be lucky and Farmer’s Almanac will be correct with their winter forecast .....

“This winter, we expect to see above-normal temperatures almost everywhere in the United States, except in the Southwest, where we’re predicting a colder-than-normal season. It’s still going to be wintery, of course, but it won’t be an especially frigid year. Our milder-than-normal forecast is due to the expected arrival of a weak El Niño, which will prevent cold air masses from lingering in the North. Despite a decrease in solar activity, we predict that the other factors that contribute to winter weather will keep temperatures above normal.”

Works for me if they’re correct! LOL

I lived in Tallahassee several years ago but had enough of FL when summer rolled around. WAY too hot!
