More than 140 Camp Fire evacuees at four different shelters have had norovirus symptoms due to an outbreak, while 41 are currently experiencing symptoms, according to Butte County Public Health Department.
Twenty-one people staying at Neighborhood Church in Chico; 31 at Oroville Church of the Nazarene; 9 at Butte County Fairgrounds, and one at East Avenue Church in Chico had symptoms Thursday, according to a Butte County Public Health Department news release.
About 179 people are staying at Neighborhood Church; 352 are at Oroville Church; 142 are at Butte County Fairgrounds in Gridley, and 200 are at East Avenue Church in Chico, the release said.
At Nazarene Church, some people are staying inside and some are staying in their cars on the church property, said Lisa Almaguer, health department spokeswoman.

Norovirus is horrible.
I had it a few years ago. After that I looked at my life and made changes. (like work less hours)
It’s brutal. And I was at home, in my bed/bathroom.
It’s like losing everything and then puking and crapping your guts out. May God bless these people.

I have so far avoided that and Legionnaires and all sorts of other maladies but have experienced some similar bu milder infections.
They are all terrible and, of late, keep me from plunging into multiple germ pools.
They can thank the environmentalists for the mismanagement of the forests for all the damage and sickness.
Just wait till it rains and the mud slides come.
Noro virus is extremely contagious. It would only take one worker not practicing proper hygiene and hand washing to spread this. Noro Virus is totally non political. It is just an infectious bitch,
