Yep, her election is punishment for AZ having the most dysfunctional state GOP in the nation.

Back in the 70's when I lived in Tucson, Mo Udall was our rep. I despised him. In one election a former Vietnam POW ran against Udall. The Republican party would not support that guy and Udall only beat him by 10000 or so votes.

It really is past time to initiate a new party. Republicans on a state and local level have become ineffectice cucks.
