ATLANTA - A federal judge has ruled that Georgia counties must count absentee ballots even if the voters date of birth is incorrect or missing, and he is preventing the state from finalizing election results until that happens.
Although U.S. District Judge Steve Jones agreed with the Georgia Democratic Party and Stacey Abrams campaign on this issue, he ruled against them on two others. He will not require counties to accept absentee ballots with incorrect residence addresses or to accept provisional ballots cast by people who attempted to vote in a different county than where they are registered to vote.
Channel 2 Action News is digging deep into the ruling and will have the latest, on the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat at 11.
Plaintiffs have shown that they are entitled to preliminary injunctive relief as to the absentee ballot (date of birth) issue, Jones wrote in an order finalized late Wednesday. Plaintiffs have not shown that they are entitled to preliminary injunctive relief as to the absentee ballot (residence) issue and provisional ballot issues.

If you don’t know your birthday you can vote. Works if you are dead too.

This is where the SOS steps up and follows Georgia law. If he has to certify by a certain date, he certifies. He doesn’t need to put himself in legal jeopardy.
I’m glad he at least brought something to eat. Where’d he stash his reading material?
A birth date is a major part of the Verification process. Anyone who does not know their birth date is not who they say they are.
IMMEDIATELY file an Emergency Appeal to the Supreme Court !
Funny how that works.
Want if they also got the date of death wrong?
That twitter person is a full on liberal. I figured that out by reading some of their posts. That made that tweet especially funny.
“Want if they also got the date of death wrong?”
ROTFLOL
That reminds me of a tweet I just saw. It said:
“I can’t believe My parents voted Democratic in the FL elections”
“They Never would have done that when they were alive”
Georgia law does not require birthdate to be on ballots only birthdate for registration. Gwinnett county has birthdate as a means of verification. Still, Federal judge ruling in State elections is a federalism issue.
