The full Senate may vote on a nominee not approved by the committee though it’s seldom done. Flake also says he’ll vote no in the full vote so if a couple other R’s join him the nominee won’t be confirmed.
Yeah, he could lay a guilt trip on the Weak Sisters or twist their arm in some way.
