Voter fraud will continue until our elected officials want it to stop. Private industry has been providing secure transactions for decades now. The fact that it continues tells us more about the politician than the fraud.
One of my maxims is to never pass a law that you would not your worst enemy to use against you. In this case, it would be a piece of cake to cross-file the results from an individual ballot to a specific individual. You may think “that just couldn’t happen”, but I can assure you that between the corrupt county election officials and the Googlites, they would find a way.
It’s a valid idea.
Like a ‘tester’ whose vote would not be read as a true vote but would be like a GPS tracker. The electronic ballot could vote straight party for both parties...negate each other... with the system set up in advance with a set code for the tester...

The problem would be with the paper ballots having to still be thin enough to go through the machine.
And the electronic ones could ‘read,’ how the vote was flowing through the system.

Any Judge who rules to count a NON-Serialized Ballot goes to Prison for fraud.

Makes sense. What we have now is terrible. We need to get rid of the early voting, provisional ballot nonsense. Early voting should cease four weeks before the elections. The votes tallyied and ready to give out on election day.
I think a voter-id card with chip will likely be one part of the solution, with a more friendly Supreme Court it should be possible for a Conservative state to implement. This will help prevent that state from turning blue due to corruption/fraud.
Every one has to apply for a voter-id card (and renewed every four years), it will have photo and will require birth certificate, or naturalization certificate.
At election time each registered voter is sent an election-card that has a bar-code tied to that voter, it will show polling location etc.
On election day, the voter takes their election-card and voter-id card to the polling station, the staff scans the election-card and voter-id card and the data should match. The data is then transmitted electronically to a central site (per state). This prevents the same person voting twice. The election-card is dropped into a sealed box.
The voter gets their ballot, fills it out and drops it into a sealed box.
At the end of the day the number of ballots and election-cards are counted, they should be the same for each polling station.
The number of votes cast in the state (that were stored electronically) should match all the ballots and election cards from every station.
Multiple states can then compare the voter-ids from their votes to ensure the same person did not vote in multiple states/elections.
Just do like the “backwards” countries do. Once you vote, you dip your finger in unwashable dye. If your finger’s dyed, you don’t vote again.
We all know what went on here..this time they made it BLATENTLY obvious..but its a trial run for 2020..you all didn’t think the commie left would let President Trump win again did you? Why didn’t they do this in 2016 you ask, simple..they thought what most people believed, that Trump had ZERO chance of winning, they thought Clinton had it in the bag, no reason to commit voter fraud when the candidate you want has a 99.9 percent chance of winning
This would also be the problem with federal ballots injected into the regular ones, what is to stop the election official from finding a way around these ballots!!!
Lots of good comments on this post, but the problem will never go away as long as people with no scruples are supervising elections.
It’s long past time to begin prosecuting such people, and then mercilessly punishing those that are found guilty.
Vote in person, dip your finger in purple ink. It washes off in a few days. Commit vote fraud? We’ll dip your nose in permanent purple ink. Own it for the rest of your life.

All ballots should be required to have a scannable federal serial number.
Ballot printers should be required to be federally licensed, and pass a security investigation.

Low-information voters are following the federal government because of unconstitutional federal spending programs and politically correct, likewise unconstitutional federal civil rights protections.
We need to repeal the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments so that low-information voters deal with their states regarding such issues, as the Founding States had intended, instead of unconstitutionally big federal government.

Once 16 & 17 have been eliminated, it will get to the point where citizens probably won't be able to name the president, even after three guesses.
