You have a lot more faith in the GOP than I. Morality ain’t got anything to do with it in my book. At some point people have to realize they’re taking a fall on purpose. Even cowardice won’t suffice as an excuse.
Collusion, sedition, and treason aren’t limited to one party.
The biggest problem is that good people don’t want to get involved in government, it’s political “White Flight”, they just want to be left alone, yet they still expect for there to be good candidates for them to vote for.
Good candidates just don’t fall from the sky. There has to be people that are actually motivated to give up their comfortable lives in the private sector and be willing to take the arrows.
That’s one reason I appreciate Trump, he didn’t have to do this. He had the perfect life, and yet he felt he had to do something and decided to jump in, knowing all the crap that would come his way.
