He can be nominated but has to step down first and has to be confirmed by Senate.

I heard that too, but I’ve heard he isn’t legally acting AG which is wrong. So, you never know, especially from the Leftist media and Dems. If they say it it is probably wrong. And besides, they don’t follow the law, so why should we.

This is why Hillary is talking about running in 2020. When they indict her the left (includes media) will scream that Trump’s afraid to run against her and trying to keep her out of the race.
Political immunity. I’m so onto these crooks.

I hope Trump nominates him for AG.
I heard somebody say somewhere that he could not be nominated for AG if he is appointed temporarily Perfect! After Trey Gowdy becomes AG, he can act on Whitaker's "Special Counsel" suggestion. And who better to act as "Special Counsel" then Whitaker himself?
Sounds like PDJT may have outwitted the nitwits on the Left... again!

What does Whitaker say in November, 2018?????

What about the crimes uncovered during Comey's investigation? His only reason for not pressing charges was that he couldn't prove intent, as if that was needed.
Now that Jeff "The Chess Master" Sessions is gone, is there any reason she can't be charged with those crimes?

Why cannot the DOJ just do it's own investigations? EXACTLY!
Appointing a SP wastes so much time & money to do what the DOJ should be doing.

“I am of the opinion that the DOJ should appoint a special prosecutor every time an ‘investigation’ is started by the House.”
I don’t like the whole concept of Special Investigators. Investigations are too open ended. Structure is too loosy-goosy. The DOJ exists to investigate wrong doing, so let the attorneys their do their job.

Oh, no; not him. We want the next AG to accomplish something, not just entertain us with circus acts.
