A very rigged process with Joe Arpaio in to split the vote with the conservative candidate Kelli Ward in the primary.
They had this all figured out. McSally was the “electable” candidate.
Oops. How did that work out?

Electable is back in the lexicon. We see now how Trump won. When there is a sharp contrast between candidates, you polarize the electorate but your party base is more likely to turn out for you.

Either Joe or Kelli wyoud have made a fine senator, Joe probably wouldn't have finished his first term in office due to age. Instead, we get the tail to McCain's heads.

Yes, we conservatives always split our vote. What was Arpaio doing in the race at all?
