States need electoral colleges.
“Upstate should secede. ,,,,”
I’d like to secede in a peaceful way, but a strong way. As I mentioned before 10,000 people demonstrated to protect their 2nd Amendment rights in UPSTATE NY.
But we really need a leader who knows what they are doing. I wonder if Mark Levin would have ideas. Or a local talk show host in your area. In my area we have Melody Burns, and former NYPost writer political analyst Fred Dicker on Talk1300 and a few others.
“Time to enact a state level, electoral college. ..”
YES!
I wonder how we go about doing that?
If democrats keep the State Senate in 2020 then losing seats is not good news, the democrats will make sure they are GOP seats.
Georgia used to have something like that called the county unit system.
The courts struck it down as a violation of one man/one vote. The courts also struck down state leg districts that weren’t equal in population.
So you’d need to amend the US constitution for something like that.
Thanks for the info..
Guess the best thing to do is to leave the state. :)
Might be good to choose a purple state, so our votes can keep or make it RED.
I hate to leave my state because of family and friends, but maybe it would be worth it.
There are millions of us being wasted in states like IL, NY, and California, if enough of us moved en massed could take over small states like Vermont and Delaware.
That’s 4 US Senate seats right there. Bernie Sanders won by 110K votes. Tom Carper (Delaware) won by 80K.
Some rich Republicans could easily fund a housing project, for say GOP retirees (who don’t need to finding a job in their no locale) who want to make a difference by voting with their feet. Desperate times, why the hell not. No one has any imagination!!!!!

That would be terrific, and you certainly have an imagination!
Also, one thing some of us blue state voters can do is support Republicans if we live in a red or purple district and help add/keep seats to the House. I live in a purple district which leans conservative, and support the Republicans by writing a letter to the editor and in other ways.
