In TX, a Provisional Ballot is something given to a voter who doesn’t have proper ID, or official Voter’s Registration form, etc.
In 2016, in counties outside of Houston, van loads of voters showed up at polling places, without proper ID, registration, etc...and were given Provisional Ballots.
ILLary won several of these counties....one that had NOT been Dim, in decades. Hmmmm.
Why bother to register when I can just get a provisional ballot which seems like they are just running through as regular ballots.
So a provisional ballot was invented as a ‘courtesy’, allowing a vote to be validated ‘later’.
Enemies of the Republic saw it as a vulnerability to be exploited.
And now we are seeing the fruit of this ‘courtesy’.
Seems appropriate now to outlaw provisional ballots and let those who didn’t bother to register and prove citizenship in time that they are not going to vote this cycle.
I do not believe a Republican candidate has ever won the “election after the election”.
