They didn’t pick up 40 seats. The Repukes had 40 incumbents quit because they were afraid of a blue wave. Between the courts and year round voting the country is I’m pretty bad shape. They have to force through a tonne of hard core conservative judges. The blue slip nonsense better end with Graham. Country may be screwed regardless. I wonder if the citizens will go down without a fight pick up arms...

Actually it was 45 who quit. And by doing so, they made their fear of a blue-wave a self-fulfilling prophecy, which it probably what they wanted anyway.
