Following the continued antics, failures and willful disregard of the law by Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes and Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher, the Scott for Florida team has filed emergency motions and complaints to protect the security of ballots and the ongoing recount process. These filings request that FDLE and the Sheriff’s Office be required to impound and secure all voting machines, tallying devices and ballots when they are not in use until the conclusion of the recount.
Considering Supervisor Snipes’ history of breaking the law by destroying ballots and Supervisor Bucher’s recent failure to follow legal requirements for reviewing ballots, these filings also request that both Supervisors be ordered to comply with all legal obligations and preserve all ballots and records connected with 2018 election.
Additionally, the Scott for Florida team has filed a complaint requesting that ballots illegallycounted after Saturday’s noon deadline by the Broward County Canvassing Board -a violation of state law- not be included in official returns. View the complaint HERE.

He should have acted within 24 hours, when she missed the deadline. He lost 38K votes that day.

Damned if you do...the answer no longer lies with the ballot box.
They need to amend the state statutes and provide penalties and specific remedies for these actions. The entire election HQ needs 24 hour monitoring, like a jail.
Are you being sarcastic? There are only 325 million Americans and only 113 million voted. But the way things are going I wouldn’t be surprised that the Dems declared victory with over 200 million votes.
He made a political decision to keep her because he wanted to run for Senate and needs some of those votes.
Her predecessor was much more incompetent & corrupt and they were going to riot at her removal. That’s why Jeb replaced her with another black female school teacher.
After nearly 20 years of corruption and chaos, it needs to end.

I feel a bit like this also.
Gov Scott KNEW, and he was also warned and strongly cautioned to plan for this. He did nothing. He may have cost us both that Senate seat AND the Governorship of Florida. He has sounded weak and confused the last few times I’ve heard him speak.

Fiasco happens when Republicans win.
If they had won, it would have been all tallied up and done.
Instead they are trying to steal Florida’s election and Scott did not react immediately. He made statements, but took no investigative or legal action.
Let that be a lesson that no republican forgets.
