The GOP lost the House because Paul Ryan did whatever it took to sabotage Trump. also, there were several uncontested races where the only name on the ballot was a Rat. It’s Ryan’s job to recruit GOP candidates, and he didn’t.
Ryan was not the head of the GOP and had nothing to do with recruiting candidates.
