Total number of votes for governor and the senator elections are more or less the same. So when this is all said and done there will be 250,000 vote lead for Republican Gov. and a 50,000 vote lead for the that freak Democrat for Senator? something’s fishy. No way all those freak Millennials voted for the Republican for governor and then the nut bag for Senator.
I think a lot of suburban women voted for Sinema. The radio ads that I heard were mostly women talking and directed at women voters. Sinema got a lot of money for advertising from out-of-state liberals trying to take control of the Senate. But there’s a lot of votes yet to be counted, results vary widely from city to city in this state, so it could swing back in Martha’s favor.
Arizona has had a history of relatively clean elections and the state government is run by a Republican governor and a GOP legislature. This isn’t a democrat machine like Chicago or something like that. So there’ still hope for McSally to retake the lead.
Same that happened in Texas. It’s because the Dems pumped tons of money into the Senate races, not the governor’s races. The governors didn’t get pummeled so much with negative ads.
