sounds like he lived with a single parent mom - she had called the cops on him for shooting a hole in the wall and throwing a chair at her. Evaluated (last year?) and released.
This is about the 7th or 8th military vet involved shooting. We are failing them somehow. We need to fix it.
Idea: military gets cops called on him, evaluated and released, this should trigger immediate notification to a military PTSD strike-team who will be tasked with crawling up his butt 24/7/365 until he’s squared and sane.
I agree. The PTSD is VERY real and needs addressing asap.

He wasnt home, yet. He needed help coming home and we failed him.
Now everyone has to pay a much higher price.
Instead of healing one, now how many need to be healed?
This was stupid on our part, but stupid can be fixed.
But doing nothing now, after we know we have a problem, that would be ignorant ... and evil.
We had millions of guys come home from WWII and this sort of thing never seemed to happen. Vets today get far more support for these kinds of issues. Someone should be wondering why this is occurring now and not back then.
