Scalia valued her as a friend, and that’s admirable.

I wish her no ill, but I think it’s clear that retirement would benefit her.

She could well pull through this and return to the court, but I doubt she will make it to the next president despite her obvious desire to do so. I do know one thing, her replacement’s confirmation hearings will make Kavanaugh’s look like a veritable love fest.
