If you want to win the suburbs back, you had better campaign on the issues that matter to them. It is hard to do that when Paul Ryan and the rest of the GOPe sat on their asses for the first year plus if Trump’s term and did nadda.

Tax cuts and the economy are great as a start but healthcare and other issues are a drag on the suburban wallet.

Stop and think about it. What did Paul Ryan do to help Republicans in the mid-term elections. Did anyone ever hear or see Ryan campaigning? Barnstorming? Fundraising? Leading?

Nope. Paul Ryan may a conscience decision to do little or nothing and did little or nothing.

What Paul Ryan didn’t do was traitorous to the Party. Whether this was out of spite for Trump or to protect his upcoming cushy job, I don’t know. But look at other Speakers worked hard to gain or preserve the Majority and we can see that Paul Ryan clearly took a pass and stayed home.

Healthcare was THE big issue the dims campaigned on.

I cannot tell you how many commercials on tv/radio/youtube there were from dim candidates talking about pre-existing conditions, unfair premiums, etc.

The RNC better figure out how to deal with this....and soon.
