Crossfit is terrible - I know its beneath me but I get a distinctly fascist vibe when I'm around that crowd. Their gym used to be across the parking lot from the boxing gym which I attend. I don't like people yelling - they do lots of yelling at people err I mean encouraging them.
This new guy is a crossfit attendee - well we've all got our weak points. I'll try not to let this prejudice my take on him

Why do you need motivation yelling when you pay $125 a month? That’s not enough motivation for you?
