The Maricopa County Recorder is new and Democratic because the previous one who was a long time Republican didn’t have enough poll places and people were waiting hours to vote.

Most are not absentee ballots. They are early ballots. If you aren’t confident they will get thru the mail in time, you can drop them off at any polling place.
You may not LIKE early voting, but it is here to stay.
BTW - early voting favored Republicans 611,022 to 495,013 Democrat. The Independents totalled 345,201. Assuming CNN’s poll favoring Sinema has the Independent vote split accurate, and assuming all GOP & Dems voted according to party, then McSally led the early voting by 5%.
