Three Senate races, and 22 House races remain uncalled as of 10:30 a.m. on the East Coast.
House Democrats have already passed the threshold for a majority by winning 220 seats so far, wrestling control of a chamber they havent held since 2010. Based on current projections, they could obtain as many as 234 seats good for a 33-seat majority though it is more likely theyll land somewhere around 229 seats for a still-significant 23-seat lead over the Republicans.
In the Senate, the GOP not only held the line it managed to flip Indiana, North Dakota, and Missouri, each states that President Donald Trump won by double digits in 2016.
Here are the outstanding races that will determine the size of the Republicans' majority in the Senate and the Democrats' majority in the House: Senate

But pollsters refused to predict the Democrats Senate defeats. Except ND Heidi.
Dems gain +33 seats, possibly 55 or more.
9 more than needed for majority.

DEMS TAKE HOUSE; +34
REPUBLICANS KEEP SENATE; +3
229 would technically only be a 12 seat majority. 12 Dems would need flipping on any vote to give Reps a majority. Of course, we all know Dems march in lockstep so that would almost never occur.
Nice shootin’, Tex!
Well, I’m confused. I thought he asked for a recount???
That was last night today it is not so.
Senate was NEVER in play... the only question was how many would the GOP gain.. The map was just too stacked against the Democrats. That entire narrative was wishful thinking by the MSM/DNC
That thread is undecided, just read all the comments. Still don’t know if he conceded or not.
We’ll have to wait awhile on Maine CD2, it’s going to go the way of Rank Choice Voting, maybe recounts, court cases.

Ahhh, I see Roll Call cannot stomach telling the real truth, that these were states with moderate Americans who didn’t like the fact that the current senators of those states ALL voted AGAINST Brett Kavanaugh, but ran on being moderates, and stated many times their willingness to work with Republicans. Whether you like him or not, Joe Manchin likely saved his seat because he voted FOR Kavanaugh.
Well, since we almost lost Texas and we did NV, it could have gone the other way if we hadn’t flipped some Democrat seats. We need to think Veritas for exposing a number of these Democrats in their undercover operations.

That being said, Ted Cruz has to be wondering how/why Abbot could win by 14 or so and he only won by 3. Was it his childish failure to cooperate with Trump when it was obvious that Trump had won the primaries? Is it his personality? Is it his policies (and I don’t think that the answer is behind Door #3, not in Texas)? He has to fix that before he runs again, because in a statewide race like this, he should do just as well as others from his party.
Well, since we almost lost Texas
And Florida which scares the hell outta me. Is this a sign of voters coming from other states where DEMONRATS rule and taking advantage of our way of life run by REPUBLICANS but still voting D which I resent!!!????
