All these Southern governors, traveling all over the country trying to lure big business to come South. Promising tax breaks, lower taxes, newer schools, bigger homes, lower property taxes, better climate and a better quality of life. Bragged that all their Georgia constituents were going to be getting all the jobs. NOPE....
All that happened, all the Liberals and Dem’s from up north, moved with the company. And now they’re wreaking havoc on the states. Just imagine if Bezos had picked Atlanta, thank the Lord he didn’t. Property taxes thru the roof. About 50,000+ liberal hipsters moving in.
All these people do is move and bring their problems with them.
I’m not surprised Chatham County (Savannah) voted for Abrams. A popular bumper sticker there says ‘Stop Black On Black Crime’.
The red states we hold have the same appearance as the nation - masses of red with ribbons of blue in them, and sometimes, like in Kalifornia, those ribbons are very narrow.
The Left and Progressives LOVE the masses held in tight in big metro areas - all the easier to control.
The plantation/swamp maps keep expanding. Sometime in the future the lines of demarcation will become fuzzier, as we'll all be singing the blues.

I’m thinking the areas in blue also correspond with the highest levels of crime in the state. Just a hunch.
Most of you don’t remember when a person selling their homes, could deny selling to anyone they chose. That’s how they kept their communities like they wanted. Most of it was race, but not all.
We lived in Ft Wayne, IN some years ago and bought our first house a distance from neighborhood we did not want to live in. We eventually moved from Ft Wayne and that house eventually was swallowed up in the creeping neighborhood change.
From that time till now, you could not refuse to sell to anyone. If someone wanted to buy and they could get the loan, you had to sell. To counter that, house prices went up. Way up. That’s how they tried to keep out undesirables. If you could afford to buy a house 3 times the amount it was before the gov set in the new rule, you could buy the house.
When the bottom fell out of the housing market, people who had money to buy a house for $150,000 could buy a house that sold a year earlier, for $250,000.
When we moved to GA 30 years ago, the dem/gop imaginary line was in DeKalb Co. Gwinnett Co was country and everything was new. Today I saw in this chart, it went blue. I don’t think it’s ever gone blue before. It isn’t country any more... they have moved in and changed the scenery. Shops have moved out. The new Gwinnett Mall which was brand new when we came here, and beautiful.. is almost empty now. How can that happen. One thing they did was build apartment complexes down one road... it was walking distance to the mall. Those apartments changed Gwinnett Co. It brought in a class of people who did not take care of their property and lived a lot differnt than home owners.
The county just north of Gwinnett, is Forsyth Co. It was once an all white county and so Hosea Williams and many more blacks, came to that county and marched. It isn’t white now, but it’s one of the most expensive counties in GA.
To be able for homeowners to control their neighborhood, has gone by the wayside. I still want to live where I feel relatively safe.. and it’s more difficult when gov gets involved in our lives.. even when buying or selling a house.
The creeping line moves... and so do those who don’t want to be in the mix. Atlanta suburbs seem to go forever in all directions. People keep ‘moving out to the country’.
It's possible that the Trump Revolution could reverse this. It will take a miracle. But Donald Trump and the Trump Revolution are a miracle.

Atlanta is not as bad as where I live - Athens, Clarke county.
