Looks like the NYT is wrong. They projected that Tester would pull ahead and win the remaining vote by over 17%. I thought that another example of Democrat wishful thinking and it looks like it was.

Tester wins by 7 or 8000 because large number of votes remaining in counties very blue. Not yet called
