What the hell is up in MO?

With a third of the vote in, Hawley is leading Claire 60/38.

My daughter worked in a polling place outside Dallas. Voters by the dozens came in with nothing more than a passport, and said they just moved from California. They had registered, which is not hard to do. Also Bozo demanded and got temp. polling places at TX A&M, and other universities—of course all students had TX as their residence.

I’m glad he won, but the scumbag under performed compared to every other Republican in the state.

“With a third of the vote in, Hawley is leading Claire 60/38.”

It was called for Claire awfully early

>>I suspect Betamale did help a few dems in Tx, down goes Pete sessions.

I looked at the Texas races tonight and while we still had “straight party voting” as an option this year, it didn’t seem to go “down ballot”.

The governor came out strongest
(Abbott-Valdez 55.9-42.5)
Abbott got 4,614,079 votes

Lt. Governor (Patrick-Collier , 51.3-46.4)
Patrick 4,225,359 votes

AttGen (Paxton-Nelson, 50.6-47.0)
Paxton 4,156,847 votes

US-Senator (Cruz-O’Rourke, 50.9-48.3).
Cruz 4,221,738 votes

Even land commissioner P-Bush got more votes than any of the other Republicans who weren’t the Governor
George P. Bush 4,397,621 votes, 53.7%
And that was with some Republicans withholding a vote, choosing the Libertarian, or writing in a name.

Then again, things didn’t go “so well” for Democrats either, O’Rourke’s presence didn’t raise up all Democrats. He got nearly 4,000,000 votes (3,999,742) and no other Democrat in the state approached that threshold
Valdez (Gov) 3.5M
Collier (LT) 3.8M
Nelson (AG) 3.86M

Texas is the key. Florida is also important but Texas is key. Look for the dems to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to flip that state. Once that happens, turn out the lights.

Heaviest Democrat turnout was along the Mexican border. Some of that was fraudulent voting. Project Veritas has a video the Governor is interested in with election officials encouraging non-citizens to go ahead and vote as long as they have a driver’s license.

The big cities (Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio) all went Democrat but the rest of the state was deep Republican.

County maps for each political race on the NY Times
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/11/06/us/elections/results-texas-elections.html

and eventually this site will be updated and have good info to examine (the results are just coming in).

If Trump can get over it, so can they. I supported Cruz in the primaries, bowed to reality in the Presidential.

Exactly - I also started with Cruz until reality said Trump was the pony to bet on.
