These days such a degree probably carries about as much weight as so many other prizes and awards that get passed out so frequently.
I lived in a two bedroom apartment three miles from campus. Food, rent, utilities and all cost me two thirds of what a tiny shared dorm room went for only without all the noise. If I got a roommate then I was down to a third of what the dorms and cafeteria cost.
This was the institution which proclaimed it could teach people to run a business.
Maybe they could, but I would like to see hard numbers on how many of those people founded successful businesses.
