Gender refers to words, not people. Sex is basically a binary thing. A small number of babies are unfortunately born with ambiguous or unidentifiable genitals.
There’s no way a genuine scientist would sign anything like that. It’s not a matter of opinion, they probably aren’t really scientists in any accepted sense, just true believers & Quacks.

We’re obviously using a very loose definition of ‘scientist.’
By this definition, a kid playing with M-80s that blows his fingers off is a research pyrologist!

Taking the word “scientist” back to its etymological root, we find the Latin form “scientes,” which means “the knowing ones, or “people knowing.” So, these guys can still call themselves “scientists,” but feel no need to use scientific method, to do any experiment, or seek anyone else’s proofs about their hypotheses. They just know.... That’s more than enough to be held in esteem, if you’re willing to jump on the bandwagon of feelings, rather than of real scientific proof.
If I were a lab manager and saw one of my people on this list I would fire him or her immediately. Obviously can’t be trusted to do real science.
Title 9 means nothing to biologic females if anyone can claim the benefits. I have mixed feelings about that.
