Some Democrats apparently think “nationalism” is code for White racism or White Nationalism.
Seriously, They do say that, but I don't think they really believe that. They are just using the play on words to try to smear their political opponents. They would have trouble explaining they advocate putting other countries interests ahead of the interests of the American people, so they use this smear tactic.
