The ONLY difference between today and the sixties is ubiquitous cameras.
Because there were not cameras producing evidence, people in the past were able to deny this stuff and since disbelieving was easier than investigating as to whether this stuff was real or not.
It's been in the schools, churches, sports programs, jobs for teens, and anyplace else there are kids forever.
It is just that now it is harder to punish and then ostracize kids who tell as was done in the past instead of punishing the perps.
