back when they made you parallel park

Only thing I got criticized for when taking the test. I parked perfect but I didn't turn around to look when backing up. I'm like "we're in the middle of nowhere & there's just these orange cones". I passed.

IIRC, cars did not usually have mirrors on both sides back then? My neck is too stiff for turning around, have to use mirrors when backing up.

Glad my wife handles backing the boat trailer for us. She wants nothing to do with docking, same for me with backing the boat up.
