NEW POLL: GOP’s Bob Stefanowski Surges To Lead In Connecticut Gov Race
RGA News ^ | November 2, 2018

A new poll shows Republican Bob Stefanowski surging to the lead in the closing days of the Connecticut governor’s race.

The latest Hearst/Sacred Heart survey shows Stefanowski leading Democrat Ned Lamont as the momentum has shifted decisively in recent weeks toward Stefanowski’s campaign. Those polled cited the “high overall tax burden” and the state budget crisis as their top issues in the election, a clear indication that voters are frustrated after eight years of failed Democrat leadership under Dan Malloy.

Bob Stefanowski’s surge in the polls shows that his campaign has the momentum as his pro-jobs message for lower taxes and a return to fiscal responsibility continues to resonate with voters, while Ned Lamont only promises more of the same failed policies.

Let’s hope that the Republican momentum has picked up some speed in the closing days of this campaign. President Trump sure is not letting up.

Having a Republican governor in CT is a waste. He will accomplish nothing for the people with the Rats in charge of the legislature.

Having a negative attitude on things that happen in a State in which one doesn’t reside is a waste

The amazing thing to me is that any Republican wants the job. Connecticut is unfixable.

If nothing else, he can greatly slow down the pace of the damage the Ds can do there.

Why would anyone want that job? CT is in big trouble, and I don’t know that any governor can fix it.

Maybe, but for down ticket races this might help.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. Got to start somewhere. While he's going to be hamstrung in the legislative process, he still has the veto pen and as chief executive, he can stop some nonsense through the use of executive authority. If the conservative movement is going to grow, we have to start making progress in liberal ghettos and not just surrender them.

At least you warned them first. You just didn't specify HOW you were going to screw them up.

Nothing new here... leftist Bk their communities then elect an R to lock it down... then after the R’s clean the mess and keep it clean for a while, they vote back in the Ds who slowly wreck it, then they vote in an R to clean it up..... and so it goes and so it goes...
