As election day nears, a new poll from Carroll Strategies shows Republican Yvette Herrell leading Democrat Xochitl Torres Small in New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District race. The poll, which surveyed 1,200 likely New Mexico voters, revealed Herrell with a five-point lead over her challenger. Forty-seven percent of those polled said they will vote for Herrill, while 42 percent said they intend to vote for Small.
Last week, Herrell joined SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight to discuss the migrant caravan headed towards the US-Mexico border.
Herrell insists that the caravan is an “insult” to those who immigrated legally and puts “our sovereignty at risk.”
“We have to ensure that we have the resources, tools and people available on the ground so that our first line of defense — which is our U.S. border patrol — can do their jobs effectively,” stated Herrell in the interview. “I completely support bringing in additional troops. Whatever it takes, because constitutionally, we have a responsibility to protect our land and borders. This really is becoming very concerning, especially as we see such violence and things that have happened in the past with people coming into the state and country illegally.”

This district is the southern half of NM. So it excludes Santa Fe and Taos the libtard meccas. It DOES include all the border where folks have to suffer our immigration policies. My bet is a 5 point spread here is conservative. I would add the additional 4% all polls deserve for libtard bias.
Does it include Las Cruces, which is pretty liberal?
Yes, it does. Las Cruces is the home of the Tech University which is sort of like VA Tech. A small island of weak blue in a Red Sea.

Good line. Hopefully Republicans push it widely, boost African American R support even more.
If I am an African American I am leaving the Democrat Party as their stance on the illegal invasion will hurt my job opportunity, my schooling for my kids and take away the focus on my community and its issues.
I truly am starting to feel that everyone desires propserity and it is Trump that can deliver that... Black, Brown or White.
