Ronnie picked perhaps Neil's best album (Tonight's The Night) to wear on his shirt.
As much as (some) Skynyrd fans like to believe there was some big feud between them, there wasn't. Much mutual respect.
That said, the Canadian should mind his own country's business.
My my, hey hey
Old hippies trying to recreate the Nixon era are here to stay.
Indeed Skynyrd like many groups early 70s picked up a lot from Buffalo Springfield
And CSN or CSNY and of course Roger McGuinn and his ever changing crew (I prefer the Clarence White Gene Parsons era)
Thats Ronnie in a skinny phase btw...lol
My middle son who plays cornerback for Independence high school here and I drove down to Baton Rouge three weeks ago to watch the Tigers whip Georgia
We purposely drove from McComb to Gillsburg to look around but it got dark on us...even then we both got reverent and played Second Helping as we approached BR from the northeast on various coonass backroads
There an interview recently with Lesh Weir and Kreutzmann I think and the interviewer asks why they go country and leave the psychedelic stuff behind after Axomoxoa and Live....they replied in unison ... Crosby Stills and Nash!!
I forgot...important
My aunt ..married to a doctor then...and my cousins went to school in Orange Park Jacksonville with Skynyrd band kids
Ronnies family put up a couple of his snake band hats for a school auction mid 70s
She won the bid...Ive held it and begged for it many times ..she aint giving it up...she likes Skynyrd a bunch
