Not guilty? Outrageous....he can't use the insanity plea because he is clearly insane...what sane person would do what he did....what is needed is a Judge who understands premeditation and desire to kill... Bowers, "was arraigned one day after a grand jury issued a 44-count indictment that charges him with murder, hate crimes, obstructing the practice of religion and other crimes" which should mean an immediate death sentence...within 24 hours.

America has no such law and our courts should have for an act this heinous.

Insane people can obviously use the insanity plea. So he is claiming to be in his right mind, and/or was evaluated to be.

And of course there is this Biblical warning right from King Solomon:
Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

— Ecclesiastes 8:11
The appeals processes subvert that principle and encourage evil acts.

In an Old Testament world, a kidon could arrange to get arrested and jailed with Bowers.

“Outrageous....he can’t use the insanity plea because he is clearly insane...what sane person would do what he did..”

First off, you CAN use the insanity plea if you’re insane (that’s kind of the idea).

However, and far more importantly, “insane” as defined in the legal sense of the word means that one is incapable of understanding that what one is doing is morally or legally wrong. You can be bat$hit crazy in the common-sense meaning of that term, but if you try to exit from the scene of an incident to avoid getting caught, then you are NOT legally insane.

This guy is NOT legally insane - he knew exactly what he was doing, knew that it was legally wrong, and did it anyway...and then tried to leave the scene so as not to be caught. He is clearly very, very screwed up, but is still deserving of full punishment because he knew what he was doing.

They need to ask him his neck size so they can get the rope pre-stretched.
