Surveys conducted in Florida, Arizona and Indiana indicate all three Senate races in these states to be neck and neck just nine days before the midterm elections.
Its anyones game in three key Senate races, where the outcomes could decide which party controls the upper chamber of Congress, according to a CBS-YouGov poll released Sunday. Republican challenger Mike Braun leads Indiana Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly, 46 percent to 43 percent. In Arizona, GOP Rep. Martha McSally trails Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, 44 percent to 47 percent. In Florida, Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson is tied with Republican Gov. Rick Scott, with both candidates polling at 46 percent.
The surveys were conducted between Oct. 23-26 among likely voters, with all three being within the margin of error.
The latest survey comes as welcome news for Braun, a former Republican state lawmaker who had previously trailed Donnelly in most of the recent polls out of Indiana. Donnelly led in three separate surveys earlier in October. However, Braun has since closed the gap and surpassed the Democratic senator, leading in the latest two polls.
We have all the momentum in the final nine days because Hoosiers are ready for solutions, not more of the same from politicians wholl say anything to get elected, Braun said Sunday on Twitter, celebrating the CBS poll.

Braun has also cited the Kavanaugh effect for his recent poll surge he is not the only Republican candidate to enjoy better numbers after Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaughs confirmation brawl.
Scott, the GOP governor of Florida, also appears to have momentum in his direction. A Gravis Marketing poll conducted between Oct. 22 and 23 showed him trailing Nelson by 4 percentage points. However, Scott and Nelson are now at a dead heat. Many respondents in the CBS survey gave the outgoing governor positive marks for his response to Hurricane Michael, which smashed the states panhandle region.
McSally, an Arizona GOP congresswoman, had trailed Sinema by as much as double digits over the summer. However, recent revelations into Sinemas past has made the race much more competitive. The RealClearPolitics average of recent polls shows McSally barely ahead by 0.7 percentage points.
FiveThirtyEight, a polling aggregate and election website, gives the Republican Party a 5 in 6 chance of retaining control of the Senate.
If McSally trails Sinema at this point, after all the crap that’s come out about her, we are most assuredly doomed.... and AZ will lead the way into the abyss.
I think a lot of people believe Sinema has changed. I do not. She is certainly still an abortion-lover who wants more taxes, illegal immigration, etc.
Personally, I think McSally’s ads have sucked. I’ve heard some OK ads in the last couple of weeks, but she ran a long time with the same grating ad. I think McSally led a charmed existence in the military. She was “the first female fighter pilot”, protected by allies in Congress, and didn’t compete on equal footing for rank or jobs. She had things handed to her on a silver platter. Never learned to fight.
I’ve already voted for her, but she has run a poor campaign.
Arizona and Florida have been the most aggravatingly peculiar this election. How anyone could elect that bundle of insanity Kyrsten Sinema to the Senate in AZ and that marxist Andrew Gillum to the governors seat in FL is wayyy beyond logic.
Sinema is not an “abortion lover”, she is clearly an “abortion enthusiast” and “abortion promoter”. Gotta keep that black population under control, doncha know!
McSally is from the same Arizona GOP Inc wing that gave us McCain and Flake. I can see why she doesn’t inspire enthusiasm. I still expect her to pull this out, but she will just be another McFlake.
Sinema is running as the "I'm above partisan politics" candidate - the "Can't we all just get along" candidate. Since the TV, newspapers, debate moderators, etc refuse to call her on it, it sells to the low-interest voter.
However, I think the polls are wrong and McSally will win by 5 points. Arizona has a mushy, establishment GOP candidate running against a protected, "I'm above it all" Democrat candidate. If you want to hear the wacky stuff Sinema has said, you must find it on the Internet or listen to conservative talk radio. It won't appear in the MSM.
I strongly want "Glass half full McSally" to beat Sinema, but folks outside Arizona may not be aware of how weak the McSally campaign has been.
She is leading in the polls. Even RCP said the seat is staying GOP.
the hidden nugget: Roughly 50% of your fellow Americans apparently think abortion is just peachy.
And Michigan is very nearly a dead heat.
