TALLAHASSEE More than 2 million Florida voters have cast ballots and Republicans maintain a solid advantage over Democrats in turnout.
The blue wave remains mostly a mirage. More Republicans are "bringing it home" so far, in the words of Democratic candidate for governor Andrew Gillum.
Typically, the GOP has led from the start in mail ballots, and it edged ahead of the Democrats in early voting Thursday for the first time as several more GOP counties began early voting

My tiny polling place rarely has anyone there. Gerrymandered dws district
Youll get 4 more from this house on Election Day!!
Seriously? Dems are too freaking lazy. If it doesnt show up in their mailbox, the ones that are being prodded to vote wont find time to vote in person.
The millennials dont even know how to buy a stamp! You think theyre gonna be able to even find their precinct?
But thanks for that opinion, downer Dave
I was making a bad joke. Its my fault on that trying to be sarcastic. I agree 100% they are lazy and this is great news with the early voting totals.
15 largest counties in Texas show the following:
voted
2,426,561 19.80% of registered voters

Oh geez. Sorry I’m slow on the uptake sometimes.
yippee, thanks!
I saw your oopsie and get how text words can get misconstrued! Done it myself! I find the /sarc tag works well but sometimes I forget it too! No harm no foul, fellow traveler !

Look at the bright side. The Panhandle hasn’t voted yet.
And may the Lord comfort all of them, democrats too.

And they will then call for an extension of voting hours and in some places, days. This all because of some made up hindrance to their not voting during the early voting period, or on election day. It happens every election in Broward, Miami/Dade, Palm Beach, and other Dem dominated districts.
I’m waiting for the Dems next appeal that absentee votes be accepted for ballots with signatures that don’t match the signature on record. If you think that’s impossible it happened in 2016. Then they will try to block absentee ballots sent from the military.
It’s the dance they do every two years.
“Im waiting for the Dems next appeal that absentee votes be accepted for ballots with signatures that dont match the signature on record.”
ACLU filed a suit 11 days ago challenging Georgia’s rejection of absentee ballots where the signature doesn’t match.
