(Of course, for me it’d be a “shul” or a “synagogue” gun, IF I had ONE...that happened to be a .45 Gov’t Model with a Crimson Trace laser. IF.).

That would have been a good choice BEFORE the age of body armor! If I were Jewish, I'd be thinking a little more in terms of a more organized brand of bad guy.

I'd be looking at something like a CZ-52, or if you're one of those rich jews, an FN Five-seveN. ;-)

There are about 8-10 of us at services on Saturdays, or on other holidays. We have definitely thought about, and trained for, the organized brand of bad guy - whether like this day’s particular brand, or the goat-humping one.

They may get at us, but it most assuredly won’t be for free. If today’s event had occurred in our place, the perp would have been carried out in a zippered bag. Well, most of him, anyway.

I can’t speak for every one of the members of my tribe (and, for that matter, I KNOW that I don’t speak for many), but the days of playing nice ended in Auschwitz, Treblinka and places like that. Playing for keeps is now the only option, no one else is going to LET us play nice and still keep playing.
