Yes, it was arguably as serious as these bomb threats, but the media will virtually ignore it. It will get 1/100th of the publicity as the bomb attacks, just as the bomb attacks have already gotten 100 times the publicity that the Scalise shooting got.
The day after the Scalise shooting, the story didn't even make it above the fold of my local newspaper. Three days later, it was virtually forgotten, and leftist trolls on conservative sites are acting as if it never happened.
