A lot of the most die hard Democrats register as republicans in Florida in order to vote in the Republican primary since it does not matter to them which Democrat wins the Democrat primary.
At least that’s what a nutjob rabid leftist [albeit pro gun]local high school teacher told me was his reason to register as a Republican. Said in a GOP state it was his way to have he most say.
