The reboot of Murphy Brown is getting old quick. It has become a boring, paint by numbers exercise in liberal vanity, with shots (both direct and veiled) at President Trump, Melania, the Trump Hotel, and, of course, Fox News.
In the CBS shows episode titled The Girl Who Cried Wolf airing October 25, Murphy Brown went to a frequent gag. Murphy (Candice Bergen) is forever in need of a new assistant and the shows social media/tech guru comes up with a solution an artificial intelligence one. Murphy is skeptical and then the techie, Pat (Nik Dodani), demonstrates by using a frequent claim on the left and particularly liberal cable news networks that President Trump lies a lot.

For those who missed out last night (NFL football or the Columbo episode "Negative Reaction" with Dick Van Dyke as special guest star that I watched).

I think if the audience for Murphy Brown, then I think of all the poor kitties who have to live with those crazy late-middle-aged women. Sad.

>>Hillary didnt get hired? Poor computer skills?
- lied on her application
- past employer said she was moonlighting on company time
- stole internal documents for financial gain
- destroyed documents and company equipment when called on the carpet for an internal investigation
- flippant attitude when questioned about her dishonesty and destruction of public records

We watched it for about 30 seconds... Hollywood needs new writers. No, forget it...the writers are out here, but Hollywood don’t care...

There is a reason why they resurrected this talentless feminazi: to bring down Trump. That’s why they put the show on a few weeks before the election.

“There is a reason why they resurrected this talentless feminazi: to bring down Trump. Thats why they put the show on a few weeks before the election.”
A bit like when that show, “Madam Secretary”, with Tea Leoni came out before Hillary began her campaign. It didn’t work, and this won’t work, either.

Disagree. There's some occassional Trump digs, but she has a son who works for FOX ("Wolf News") who counters Murphy. She's almost a parody of left-wing wacko journalists
This particular joke in which the Alexa assistant kept updating the number of Trump lies every 3 seconds was LOL clever.

Back in the 70s,when Saturday Night Live was good,Candace Bergen did a great skit with Gilda Radner about "stupid people".In that skit Gilda was hilarious...as usual...and Bergen was absolutely stunningly beautiful.
That's the only time I've ever seen Candace Bergen perform...and I'll never watch her perform again.
