An electric car isn’t yet feasible, because it requires being plugged in on a daily basis to ensure you can get somewhere the next day.

Without new batteries, it’s never going to move beyond a niche vehicle.

I used one for 2 years.
Plugging it in every day meant it was always “full”. Preferable to ICE cars.

Not sure what you mean by “new batteries”. Seems they last way past 100,000 miles, maybe 3x that with little degradation.

What’s funny is that I can drive from Salt Lake City to Vegas in 6 hours, probably more like 7 including bathroom breaks and food. For the Tesla, that trip is an overnighter (or a REALLY long day) because the car can only make it 265 miles, then it has to recharge for 6-10 hours depending on the power source. Who the hell wants to take a road trip like that? I’d rather take 10 minutes to fill up, take a wizz, grab a road snack/drink, and hit the road again.
