In the Menendez vs. Hugin battle for the U.S. Senate millions of dollars have been spent by both camps to dirty up the other Bob in the race. What we have are two men spending a fortune tearing down the other guy.
They both have a lot to work with.
With Senator Bob Menendez we have an incumbent severely admonished by his U.S. Senate colleagues because he violated Senate Rules and related statutes, and reflected discredit upon the Senate. His transgressions included not disclosing lavish gifts he got from a Florida ophthalmologist that the Senator did big favors for including trying to extricate the eye doctor from federal scrutiny that culminated in the doctor being criminally convicted for ripping off Medicare for tens of millions of dollars.
Senator Menendez was criminally indicted but in 2017 the jury deadlocked and the DOJ opted not to retry him. He marketed it as an exoneration and took prosecutors to task for daring to bring the case.
Ah, the old “Pox on both houses” can add, when your side is losing.
Canard not can add
Sadly, I do not see the corrupt people in NJ doing the right thing chucking Menendez.
I noticed that as well
We have one guy who is a corrupt kiddie rapist
And the other guy who was successful marine who ran a successful Pharmaceutical company as CEO, which is evil, unless that CEO is a democrat.
I hate this crap, the media is downright criminal
Sadly, I do not see the corrupt people in NJ doing the right thing chucking Menendez.
So all the people who live in New Jersey are corrupt?
Ok
What a garbage web page, looks some 5 year old using geo cities created that dog pile of a web site.
Looks like a low budget democrat funded “news site”
They did not even mention FBI’s investigation in Menendez’s alleged child prostitutes he was visiting in the Dominican Republic.
No, just the corrupt people in NJ are corrupt.
So hes drawing a moral equivalence between Menendez corruption and the fact that Hugins worked for a company that allegedly marketed unapproved drugs? Think of all the crimes the federal government has committed. And they should all be attributed to Menendez I guess since he works for the government.
I have rallied my family who doesn’t usually attend midterms to vote in two weeks.
The problem is that Bob Hugin is a huge douchebag and an anti-Trumper.
Normally that wouldn’t fly but this is a rare chance to boot a special scumbag.
I’ve seen no signs in South Jersey supporting Menendez (sp) but have seen Hugin signs sporadically. I think the only reason Menendez was prosecuted was that he crossed Hillary & the Party by voting against the Iran treaty. Not long after that the charges were filed.
I even donated to Hugin 3X. I would dance the jig to see Menendez lose.
And, Bob’s your uncle.
Just think of it as our best chance to recall that corrupt little rat fink bastard who should make all of us ashamed to tolerate him as our Senator, even more so than our pathetic crown prince “Spartacus”.
We tried recalling Menendez several years ago under the impression that this was eminently permissible under the NJ Constitution but learned that he was a “Federal Official” and thus exempt from recall by the people who elected him.
Having personally met and spoken with Bob Hugin, I’m sorry that your experience was obviously the opposite of mine. Be that as it may, thanks for rallying the vote for Hugin.
Very nice! I will be dancing the jig with you. It is time for the people in this State to wake the hell up and smell the caravan and liberal mobs coming for our money and jobs.
No doubt and I’ll never do anything but try to change one vote at a time. Perhaps I was being too harsh after getting fired up by lamestream news.
However, I recalled reading about Hugin attacking Trump and it created a negative feeling. I suppose that’s what it takes for an R to get elected in this State. He’s doing so much better in this race than I thought he would so I’ll keep an open mind. I always vote straight party line regardless but like politicians that have the guts to embrace this President. Thanks for the respectful disagreement and I hope we have something to celebrate soon.
“Sadly, I do not see the corrupt people in NJ doing the right thing chucking Menendez.”
Don’t be so sure. Bob Hugin is a marine. He’s charging up the hill.
We’re following and fighting the entire way.
“The problem is that Bob Hugin is a huge douchebag and an anti-Trumper.”
How does saying something so wrong and dumb get this far?
Donald Trump Jr. just gave a nod to Bob Hugin yesterday?
Can you name this planet?
You’re only about as wrong about Hugin as Corruptocrat King Menendez.
I wish him well.
Thanks, we need to join the party the rest of the country will have on Election Night. NJ is long overdue and deserves it.
