Canadian mikitary is hardened too, so is any other first world country. You’re missing the point or are underestimating the affect that they would still have.
It’s no secret though that they want to destroy the west, and we’ve funded it and gave them the technology to do it, or allowed our leaders to.
Food.
Water.
Heat.
Fuel. How to refine, how to pump out of gas pumps.
I’m not underestimating or missing anything. I’m well aware of the likely impact upon our infrastructure.
My point being, so what? If an EMP attack is initiated, it’s the “end of civilization” scenario.
Anyone concerned about not having electricity needs to adjust their priorities, IMO. Radiation will be a much more pressing issue. Surviving that is a good start. Surviving an uncivilized world full of desperate people will be the next priority.
Electricity distributed on a functional power grid will be a luxury that few will have for a long while, if ever again.
Perhaps I’m simply not getting my point across.
As I recall... with 5 nuclear capable subs the US can dominate the entire surface of the planet with ordnance.
We have.. what, 12 of them ?
It wouldn’t bother me one bit to go without power, a man, a horse, a rifle. Good to go. I also live in an area rich with wildlife and water.
As if our deployed nukes wouldn’t still work just fine.....
