Caravan Migrants: ‘What Are We Supposed to Do in Honduras If There’s no Work?’
Breitbart ^ | 10/1823/2018 | John Binder

Posted on 10/23/2018 6:18:01 AM PDT by SmokingJoe

Migrants traveling with the 7,000-strong caravan headed to the U.S.-Mexico border to overwhelm the country’s asylum and immigration system are admitting that they are merely foreign workers looking for jobs. Migrants with the caravan — many of whom are previously deported illegal aliens — recently admitted to the Washington Post in interviews that they are economic migrants, not asylum-seekers.

Evin Mata, a 21-year-old previously deported illegal alien, told the Post that his travels with the caravan to the southern border are about getting a U.S. job, which is not an eligible claim for asylum.

“We are workers,” Mata said. “What are we supposed to do in Honduras if there’s no work?”

Another previously deported illegal alien with the migrant caravan, Job Reyes, told the Post that his looking to get back into the U.S. — like Mata’s — was about securing a job, not asylum.

“I don’t know what they expect about us,” Reyes said. “But basically what we want is to have a better opportunity, to have a job, you know?”

If she is so poor, how come she managed to,pump out to the tune of EIGHT babies? And somehow, that is the responsibility of the American government?

I guess the “immigrants” have a problem. Coming to the USA is NOT a solution to their “problem”. If they enter illegally, shoot them. There are these things called sovereign countries and there are borders.

Start a business.

Make giant pots of chili and sell it. Make lemonade and sell it. Some people have money...mow lawns, become a handyman...THINK LIKE AN AMERICAN.

“Not our problem.”

True! Where’s Angela Merkel and the rest of the Muslim refugee inviting countries? Should they not be welcoming these refugees as well?

Really, why aren’t other countries stepping up to take them in like they are doing for the Muslim transplants?

Trump should be blasting Merkel, Trudeau and many others for not putting their welcome mat out to these invaders!

8 kids? I have a pretty good idea of what she’s been doing since there’s no work.

Chuckle!
Mind you, she does look like a woman who is rather fond of sex. Bless her cotton panties.

Work to fix your own country.

We are not responsible for cleaning up all the world’s messes. Everybody else doesn’t get to simply dump their problems on us.

I've got a suggestion for shovel-ready jobs for this illegal horde of invaders: The able-bodied can build us a wall. Those that can't build the wall can make sammiches for the builders.

There are 7.6 billion people in the world, and about 80% are in the same boat she is in, or worse. We don’t have room or jobs here or in the rest of the developed world for 6+ billion people. Why is the developed world developed? Because we have the resources, and a political/economic system, and a culture of hard work and ingenuity that are conducive to development.

I have some sympathy for a person such as this. But allowing her move here doesn’t solve any of the big problems; only hers. Maybe.

“We are workers,” Mata said. “What are we supposed to do in Honduras if there’s no work?”

Well, she has a point here. Say you are one of many of the embedded ISIS that escaped capture earlier in the summer. You can't rape pillage and plunder back in Honduras. While they already captured 100 of your brothers, you are on the run. What choice do you have, other than to hide among the innocent hordes to get out of Honduras and Guatemala, get free passage thru Mexico, and get into the US? In the US, there is plenty of opportunity for rape/pillage/plunder freedom.

The article was extracted from an NBC News TV piece, as were the images. Not everything was paraphrased.

I have family that immigrated (legally) from Central America.

They say the problems with the economies down there are primarily crime and corruption.

If you start a business or factory, the gangs and crooked pols show up demanding money. If you don’t pay, they kill you.

The other problem they say is that many people are too lazy. In most of those countries, the climate is mild and food is cheap. Alcohol and drug abuse are rampant.

At least in El Salvador, La Sombra Negra (The Black Shadow) is quietly assassinating criminals. That has NOT been in the news. La Sombra Negra is neither right nor left, but just people fed up with crime.

Precisely. If they put as much effort into reclaiming Honduras for decent people as they are coming to the US for benes, they wouldn’t need or want to leave home.

Or, I have another idea:

Apply for legal immigration. That’s what my ancestors did.

create jobs, use your brain, make it happen.

In the mean time use what you have wisely. Stop trashing what you own and the common space in your home town areas.

Do what you can and God will do the rest.

I keep hearing S.America has many and growing number of ‘believers”, but these folks who come breaking other countries laws and expecting to be accepted as they harm and steal etc along the way or once they get here(including govt assistance, work under table et) are NOT at all following the bible so IMO not lead by The LORD in any of this situation they chose to be in.

They are just greedy instead of seeking the LORD and letting HIM provide and make change in their home town lives.

The rest of the world is not our problem. We, most of us who work and provide, never agreed for it to be.

My thought is the same as yours but it is too late for her. She can’t unring the bell of having 8 kids. For change in the pattern suffering and survival of the fittest has to take place enough times for them to figure out the reason for their misery. So far, after many generations of unrestrained procreation and poverty they have not learned a damn thing.
