The Caravan to Nowhere

The march from Honduras echoes the 1980 Mariel boatlift. These columns favor generous immigration and asylum for refugees. But when migration becomes a political weapon to foment border chaos, leaders have no choice other than to step in and protect national security. Exhibit A are the 4,000 or so Central Americans moving on foot through Mexico to the U.S.

Waves of humanity marching in lock step don’t materialize spontaneously and neither has this “caravan.” This march is organized and not necessarily for the benefit of the migrants. Mr. Trump has good reason to turn it back.

Not since the 1980 Mariel boatlift from Cuba has there been a similar attempt to overwhelm U.S. immigration law on the pretext of celebrating American freedom. Thousands of Cubans made their way to Florida when Fidel Castro temporarily lifted his Havana Curtain, and American boats of every shape and size sailed into the Caribbean to collect them.

But the sheer magnitude made it impossible to process the newcomers in an orderly fashion. Castro saw to it that criminals and the mentally ill also climbed aboard the boats. No one doubted the Cuban hunger to escape, but the unintended consequences of the mayhem were costly.

A Mariel replay now seems to be coming from Honduras. Though the details are murky, we do know that former Honduran congressman Bartolo Fuentes of the left-wing Libre Party has admitted to organizing this caravan.

According to Fox News, the caravan is heading to Tijuana, just across the border from San Diego, a nice city that’s fast becoming a sanctuary city sh*thole.

I think we should let them in, and put them all into the Olympics.

They walked over 2,200 miles in a few days.

It has long been the policy of the white elites in Mexico and Central America (who absolutely despise America) to ship their “undesirables” to El Norte.

Mexico is effectively a socialist country. They are outsourcing education, welfare, social security for their lowest classes to the USA.

Look at the big picture. This is Cloward-Piven. Liberals are trying to overwhelm our systems and cause a massive breakdown which of course would be the Republicans fault and only Democrats could fix it.

What surprises me is no one is mentioning that. The Russia collusion investigation ties the hands of the criminal justice system. Kavanaugh was to create a constitutional crisis and destroy the reputation of the legal system. Pound Me Too is meant to destroy civil rights for all. And now 14,000 illegals attacking our border is going to put strain on our border security.

Meanwhile Obama destroyed the medical system with Obamacare and Hillary and Kerry destroyed out foreign affairs system. All of this is intended for one purpose and one purpose only. It leads to martial law which would lead to a change in government, which is what Democrats want.

Mexico let them walk through their country. Let Mexico help them get home. I don’t want 1 penny of my taxes going toward them.

I heard this from a guest on Breitbart this morning: 1) The Southern border of Mexico is SMALL. There is no reason that Mexico cannot control the influx into their country. 2) Thus, Mexico is obviously not our ally as they claim to be.

The guest was president of SenateConservatives.com
