Start mining the border.
Time to dig a moat and put in alligators
That should include Mexico and it should be cut off, not substantially reduced.
This is MUCH BETTER than the tweet I just commented on, on which he blames the dems and laws that need to change instead of being Commander in Chief. I hope President Trump has identified those in his inner circle, in the military, and in positions of authority in each state to make resistance happen.
Well, c’mon President Steel Balls...do something about it! This is nothing less than invasion! Remember the Huns, The Goths, And the Visigoths, as they invaded civilized Europe? Hey, Big Man, be our Charlemagne!
Every single Republican on the campaign trail should pointedly ask their Democrat opponent whether or not they support the repealing of this migrant horde. Or do they support their free passage (invasion) into our country?
Plain and simple. Do you support an American border or not.
And if allowed free passage what do Democrats say when then next mob turns into 500,000 or more? What then?
Answer these questions specifically. No weaseling.
Play offense, not defensive, air strikes to the convoy support vehicles. No food, no trucks and buses, then no invasion.
If it continues, move troops into northern Mexico and stop them in Mexico short of our border. This is an act of war.
Close the border instead of wailing about D’s not passing another law to be ignored.
Declaring a National Emergency has significant implications in that it allows the President to garner powers he normally could not use absent the declaration, e.g., employing the military and the national guard.
I am of the opinion, that Congress should authorize the President to suspend Habeas corpus, applicable to immigration, and limited to 5 miles of the US Border.
[Referring to the caravan from Honduras, the president tweeted: “Sadly, it looks like Mexico’s Police and Military are unable to stop the Caravan heading to the Southern Border of the United States. ]
That’s because MEXICANS are joining the caravan.
So, Mexico’s military and police laugh in your face , and say, “Manana, manana, manana is good enough for me!”
"... And Mexico is going to pay for it!"
We spend billions for the military and it can’t stop a bunch of ragbags marching up from Honduras? Friggin’ weird.
Willa and Vicente may have something to say about this. Gee, who controls the weather? Perfect timing.
So, who thinks this raving mob of invaders is going to just peacefully queue up at the border while our border patrol checks them in?
Since the answer is zero, we must as a nation be prepared to take whatever action is needed.
If that includes the US Army with loaded weapons, so be it. If that includes 50,000 patriots with loaded weapons, so be it.
This is a violent invasion and must be repelled. If the invaders get here before the election, they must still be repelled.
I have noticed that President Trump first gives a warning.
The warning was given and ignored. The Mexican Government half hearted attempt to slow the invading army was nothing more then Kubuki theater.
He just put more force in his warning. Declaring a National Emergency is the key phase. Putting our military on alert is him picking up the big stick although the real punishment will be cutting off all funds to the countries involved.
The President has shown a willing to negotiate, what he does not do is bluff.
Mexico the ball is in your court. You are going to be a good neighbor or the President will punish you.
Thing is, how are they going to walk over 1,000 miles between now and Election Day? On Twitter, I'm seeing where this mob are being transported in buses and trucks.
If they were truly escaping oppression from their home countries, why aren't they stopping in Mexico? Also, why are they carrying the flags from their home countries?
This is an invasion and should be treated as such.
